Ibanez AZ24047 Prestige 7 String, Black Overview
This model is part of the AZ Prestige series, which means the body is thin, lightweight and contoured, and it’s made in Japan using the best luthiers, processes and materials to create a high-quality guitar. This model has an Alder body with an S-Tech Roasted Maple neck and fretboard, which means the wood has been heat-treated to maximise durability and stability, while also making it more resistant to humidity and temperature changes. The fretboard has 24 Jumbo frets and uses Prestige fret edge treatment to make the fret ends more rounded.
This model has an HSS pickup configuration, with a Seymour Duncan Hyperion 7 single coil pickup at the neck and middle positions, and a Seymour Duncan Hyperion 7 humbucker at the bridge. It also has a dyna-MIX 9 switching system, a Gotoh tremolo bridge and machine heads, and a Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut which helps the strings stay in tune, as well as increasing the harmonic content and providing a balanced tone. To complete the look, this model has chrome hardware, luminlay side dots for low light conditions, and has a sleek black finish.
