Ibanez AE205 Grand Auditorium Acoustic, Brown Sunburst High Gloss Overview
The Ibanez AE205 is an AE series acoustic/electric guitar model featuring a Venetian cutaway body shape with a solid Sitka spruce top with scalloped cross-bracing and mahogany back (with Tone Projection cross bracing) and sides with a gloss finish. The soundhole is round with an abalone and maple rosette. It has a satin-finished mahogany neck with a 20-fret ovangkol fingerboard with special mother of pearl position markers. Components include a compensated bone saddle in an ovangkol bridge with Ibanez Advantage pins, a bone nut, a tortoise pickguard and chrome open gear tuning machines. Electronics consist of a T-bar under-saddle pickup connected to an Ibanez Custom Electronics preamp mounted internally with a 1/4in endpin output.
