The Ibanez AAD100 Dreadnought Acoustic has a Grand Dreadnought body shape, which is 5% bigger than a standard dreadnought and produces a more powerful and richer tone. It has a solid Sitka spruce top, which produces a broad dynamic range and clear articulation, sounding good whatever style of music you decide to play, and Okoume back and sides. The AAD100 also has a 20-fret Ovangkol fretboard with rounded edges mounted on a smooth Nyatoh neck, providing extra comfort while playing, and Ibanez Advantage bridge pins which make it easier to change strings as the pins are easier to remove and replace compared to traditional bridge pins.

The Ibanez AAD100 Advanced Acoustic represents an important step forward in the long and storied tradition of the acoustic guitar. In what amounts to a fully reimagined acoustic experience, these instruments were designed from the ground up to deliver a richer, brighter, and louder tone, with an unprecedentedly wide dynamic range.
