Hughes & Kettner TriAmp Mark 3 150W Head Overview
The Hughes & Kettner Triamp MKIII might look like it belongs on the control panel of the TARDIS, but it is one of the most versatile heads ever made, with more scope for sculpting your tone that we've ever seen from a non-modelling amplifier. This 150 watt head has 3 separate preamp sections, each of which has two independent channels- giving the player six separate channels to play with. These channels can be run through three combinable tube power amps, which gives you a total of 42 (!!) amps in the head. That means you can dial in almost any tone, from chimey vintage cleans to high gain distortion. The Hughes & Kettner Tube Safety Control system has been updated for the Triamp MKIII, meaning your tubes are automatically biased to keep your amp in tip-top condition. Other features include a Red Box DI output, phantom power MIDI control, included TSM-432 board and an Intelligent Dual Breakpoint noise gate.
