- Gently roll the foam tip while it’s compressed, insert into your ear canal. The foam will expand to form a comfortable and secure fit. Reaching around your head and pulling your ear in an upward direction will make fitting easier. Keep the plugs clean and away from material that can irritate the ear canal. The foam plugs can be worn until the foam doesn’t re-expand anymore or you notice changes in their firmness. They can be washed in a mild detergent and warm water mix. Squeeze out excess water from the foam and allow to fully air dry.
