The Flight TUS55 Amara Soprano Ukulele features a laminate Amara top which will respond to any playing style and add a traditional “look” while doing so. Amara is ebony full of darkness and exciting grains and has a deep, mysterious sound with good volume. This uke will help you discover the layers of your talent. We generally offer our travel series ukuleles with cool colours or stunning graphic designs–but the Flight TUS55 Amara Soprano Travel Ukulele offers a nod to classical ukulele design through the use of laminate Amara. Some call this wood ebony, but we call it Amara. It is wood that is full of darkness and exciting wood grain. It has a deep, full, mysterious tone.

ABS neck & fingerboard

The neck and fingerboard of this ukulele are made from ABS plastic. This is a perfect solution for entry-class ukuleles since it is not prone to any weather changes. You will never experience a sharp fret or bent neck on our Travel ukuleles. The neck features a wooden texture, which helps the instrument to feel unlike a plastic ukulele as you play it.

Zero fret & ABS saddle

Our travel ukuleles use a zero fret and adjustable saddle, which keeps the string action low and intonation on point. Since a plastic will not react to weather conditions like a wood ukulele, you will never have to deal with any future saddle adjustments.

Good-looking and easy to tune

Headstock design is an integral part of our identity. The headstock veneer is made of laminate acacia and matches the soundboard of the ukulele. All Flight ukuleles feature a carefully-designed headstock fitted with geared tuners that will always hold their tuning (once tuned).

Always ready to go

Every Flight ukulele includes a gig bag. While the Travel Series does not need a lot of protection, a gig bag protects the strings and makes the ukulele easier to carry. We chose a blue denim colour to add some style and also to make the bag stand out from the standard black gig bag that everyone else seems to favour.
