Fender Tone Master Princeton Reverb Overview
Compact and lightweight solid-state guitar combo that delivers authentic Princeton tone and a host of useful modern features.
Classic Princeton Tone
The Fender Tone Master Princeton Reverb is a 12-watt solid-state guitar amp that’s based on the renowned valve combo. Like the other amps in the Tone Master range, the Princeton Reverb uses state-of-the-art digital modelling to faithfully recreate the response and touch sensitivity of the classic combo it's based on. As well as giving you a more reliable amp, the Tone Master Princeton’s DSP technology gives you the sound of a valve combo in a much lighter and portable footprint. The amp’s pine cabinet looks the part whilst reducing weight.
Special Jensen Speaker
Fender equip the Tone Master Princeton Reverb with a 10-inch Jensen C10R speaker. The C10R is a superb compliment to the classic Princeton tone, delivering a clear, articulate high-end, detailed mid-range and warm lows. As you crank up the volume, the C10R takes on a pleasing and musical grit that works well for Blues and Rock styles.
Authentic Digital Effects
A key part of the Fender Princeton Reverb sound is its onboard spring reverb and tremolo. That’s why Fender have made sure to include ultra-accurate emulations of the original’s analogue effects in the Tone Master version. Used together, all manner of lush, pulsing tones can be conjured - from bright and splashy Surf Rock reverbs to rich, soupy tremolos. The amp comes with a 2-button footswitch, allowing you to activate the Reverb and Tremolo hands-free.
Modern Features
The Tone Master Princeton Reverb amplifier is packed with useful features that go beyond the original’s capabilities. Modern guitarists are sure to appreciate the Balanced Line Out with dedicated level control that allows you to send a direct signal to a PA system or audio interface. When used in a live setting, you can use the amp as a personal monitor or engage the Mute switch to kill the signal. Two onboard IR cabinet sims are on hand to breathe life into your direct tones. A 5-way attenuator ranges from 0.3 watts to 12 watts, letting you reach those juicy breakup tones at lower volumes - perfect for bedroom practice sessions.
The Fender Tone Master Princeton Reverb is a top choice if you need a highly portable, reliable and great-sounding amp that excels live, at home and in the studio.
