Eventide MicroPitch Delay Pedal Overview

The Eventide MicroPitch Delay lets you apply subtle delays and pitch-shifts to the left and right channels of a source, creating a lush, spacious effect that makes your sound big. From subtle-tone fattening and tempo-synced special effects to rich detunes delays and thick modulation, the Eventide MicroPitch Delay is great for anyone who wants to cut through the mix.

It’s not just for guitar either - whether it’s vocals, drums, or even wind instruments, the Eventide MicroPitch Delay will make whatever instrument you use sound bigger and better. The Eventide MicroPitch Delay is based on the classic effect that first appeared on the H910 and H949 rackmount processors, and then further popularised with the H3000. The controls have primary and secondary functions to give you lots of effects to experiment with:

Mix/Tone
Mix controls how dry or wet the mix is, while is flat on the centre position, high boost when turned to the left, and low boost when turned to the right

Pitch A / Delay A and Pitch B/ Delay B
Controls the pitch of the A channel (left), and B channel (right) from 0-50 cents

Depth / Mod
Depth controls the amount and intensity of Pitch modulation from the LFO or ENV. Mod lets you can increase or decrease pitch amounts.

Rate/Sens / Feedback
LFO Mod Rate: 0.1-10Hz
Env Follower Sens: 0-100
Feedback controls the feedback from 0-100%

Pitch Mix / Out Lvl
Pitch Mix lets you mix the pitches of the two different channels, so turning left increases the A channel, and turning right increases the B channel in the mix. Out Lv cuts or boosts the output level.

Active and Tap footswitches
Press and hold to toggle between Preset Select and Tap modes, then use the Active footswitch to Load a Preset, Dual-action Active Footswitch is latching or momentary

There are 5 presets loaded onto the pedal, and you can create up to 127 using the Eventide Device Manager, giving you a huge range of options to experiment with, and then quickly re-find the sound when you need it. There’s also an EXP out so you can map any combination of parameters to an expression pedal, simply by setting endpoints for heel and toe, letting you smoothly slide between effects. On the rear panel Guitar/Line Level switch for matching levels of guitars, FX loops, synths, or DAW interface.
