Eventide H9 Max Harmonizer Pedal Overview
The H9 Max Harmonizer Pedal is Eventide’s flagship pedal - and lets you run any of the algorithms from their most popular pedals. You have access to all 45 algorithms from their ModFactor, TimeFactor, PitchFactor, and Space pedals, as well as UltraTap Delay, Compressor EQ, and Resonator, so you can faithfully re-create the sounds used by artists such as Jimmy Page, Eddie Van Halen, Frank Zappa and many more.
Download new patches for free with the H9 software on PC or Mac. The H9 Max Harmonizer works standalone and you can control most of what you need with it, and for better real-time control you can connect your iPhone or iPad via Bluetooth and use the free H9 Control app to create and manage presets, create setlists, and purchase algorithms on a screen that’s much more detailed and easy to read, making it great for live performances if you need to quickly adjust presets. There are 52 effect algorithms, and more than 500 presets available for H9 that include reverbs, delays, pitch shifting, chorus, distortion, and everything in between.
From the TimeFactor pedal, there are 10 delay effects, which include pretty much any type of delay you’ll ever need, as well as a loop functionality.
From the ModFactor pedal, there are a huge variety of effects to keep you busy - with 4 different types of chorus, 5 phaser effects, 4 wah effects, 5 flanger effects, 3 different ModFilters, 2 different rotary effects, 2 tremolo effects, 3 vibrato effects, 2 types of undulator and 2 ringmod effects -
From the PitchFactor pedal, there are 10 different algorithms including harmonize, octave, and pitch-shifting effects, and up to 1.5 seconds of digital delay
From the Space pedal, there’s the classic Room, Plate, Spring, and Hall reverbs, with modes such as Blackhole and MangledVerb to give an extra dimension to your sound.
Effects exclusive to the H9 Max include
Harmadillo, a univibe harmonic tremolo, HotSawz, a pitch-tracking, monophonic synth engine, Crushstation and Sculpt, which are multi-band distortion algorithm, PitchFuzz which combines fuzz, three pitch shifters, and two delays, and Spacetime, which combines modulation, two delays, and reverb into one.
- The H9 Max can run all of the effect algorithms from our TimeFactor (delay), ModFactor (modulation), PitchFactor (pitch shifting), and Space (reverb) pedals as well as some created just for the H9.
