ESP LTD Surveyor '87, Rainbow Crackle Overview
This model is part of the Limited ‘87 Series which faithfully recreate ESP’s instruments from 1987, packing vintage features and looks to create a guitar that sounds and looks good.
The Surveyor ‘87 has a 34” scale with an Alder body and 3-piece maple neck with a thin ‘U’ profile making it comfortable to play, topped with 21 extra-jumbo frets on a Macassar Ebony fretboard. It also features LTD vintage tuners and a Gotoh 201B-4 bridge.
This model has a Seymour Duncan Vintage P pickup at the neck, which provides the bold, smooth tone of the late 50’s Precision Bass, and a Seymour Duncan Vintage Jazz pickup at the bridge, providing a warm tone that’s both smooth and punchy.
To complete the look is black hardware and a striking Rainbow Crackle finish.
