Digital Audio Labs Livemix 2-Person Personal Monitoring System Overview

Consisting of a MIX16 Processor Module, AD24 Analogue Input Module, two cat-6 cables (1x CAT6/1 and x CAT6/25), and a CS DUO Personal Mixer, this personal monitoring system from Digital Audio Labs will provide high quality 24-bit monitoring for two people.

The single rack space Livemix MIX-16 central mixer distributes power and audio to connected personal mixers. The MIX-16 provides up to 16 mixes when used with 8 CS-DUO dual mix personal mixers.

If you have an analogue based system, the AD-24 Analogue Input Rack Box is the unit that will take your Analogue signals and convert them to digital for use in the Livemix system. It is a single rack space box that will most likely live somewhere near the Analogue source. If this is your mixer’s Direct Outs or Inserts, then the AD-24 will be near the mixer. If you use a snake with mic pre-amps, it might be near the snake.
The AD-24 can take your input signal via TRS or DB-25. The inputs are pass through so you can patch your analog signal out of the AD-24 if required. The simple front panel interface allows selection of -10 dBV or +4 dBu line level in stereo pairs and indicates input signal levels by LED.

The Livemix CS-DUO is two personal mixers in one; with two mixes per unit, you can reduce your overall per node cost without sacrificing quality or functionality. Extremely simple to use and lightning fast to setup, the innovative MirrorMix™ function allows you to use your own personal mixer to listen to and adjust the mix of any other personal mixer in the system. Even though it is designed to be simple to operate, we did not skimp on the features, like built-in ambient mics, effects on every channel and even a metronome.
